PAV Variety Concert 2012
There will be a Country Concert held at the Capital Centre, Bendigo on 18th September. This is being organised by White hills Probus Club. Watch this space for more details as they become available.
PAV Variety Concert 2010
Your Association held a most successful Variety Concert on 29th September at the Whitehorse Centre, Nunawading and some 400 members were entertained by some very talented Probians. Demand for tickets this year was exceptional, so if you weren’t one of the lucky ones in the audience, then you missed a most entertaining afternoon! Those who fronted the footlights displayed immense talents, and are to be congratulated for their willingness to present, and some acts represented many hours of both practice and also some amazing costume design. Below are pictures of the Syndal Ladies Probus team and their costumes for their Pirates of Penzance item. President Irma Dymke acted as Master of Ceremonies and provided excellent repartee in spite of a voice that was becoming increasingly fragile by concert end.
Now your committee is seeking a country venue for next year’s concert! If a Club, or group of Clubs, are willing to organize such an event in their city or town, please contact secretary Fay O’Toole on 03 9787 1665 who will advise you of the requirements.
A number of Clubs offered amazing performances at this year's concert after much hard work and rehearsal.
